Mrs. Martha Weaver 67 of North Little Rock, AR formerly of Amy, AR surrendered on August, 16th, 2019 at Lakewood Health & Rehabilitation Center in North Little Rock, AR..
Martha was born to Thad and Callie Sullivan on December 13, 1951 in Ouachita County. She departed this life on Friday, August 16, 2019 in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
As one of sixteen children, she was known for her charisma and humor. She attended Union Grove High and began her life’s work as a Certified Nursing Assistant shortly thereafter.
While living in Amy, Martha married Herman Lee Weaver and had three children; Brian Edward Weaver, Amy Marie Weaver, and Charleston Weaver. Although she suffered a debilitating stroke at the age of 33, she never let that stop her. Martha enjoyed riding around town with family and friends, as well as caring for her siblings. Listening to her son sing in the choir at Rising Star Baptist Church brought her joy. Later in life, when her health began to decline, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren run around and often joked that she would catch them.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and four sisters, her husband Herman L. Weaver, and her beloved daughter Amy Weaver.
