Mother Alice Crumpton was born April 5, 1937 in Pastoria, Arkansas to the late George Parker and Earlene Short Anderson. She was the eldest of seven children.
Alice accepted Christ at an early age. She was an active member of Bethany Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mothers Board under the leadership of Pastor Renise Davis.
Alice attended Pastoria Public Schools. She retired from National Center of Toxicological Research in Jefferson, Arkansas where she worked as an Animal Technician.
Alice passions included cooking, fishing, spending time with her family and sharing stories from the past.
Alice was welcomed home by her parents: George Parker and Earlene Short Anderson; daughter: Joyce Vance; son: Jerry Parker; sister: Lillie Anderson.
Those left to cherish her memories children: Jerlene (Don) Washington, Tammy (Roy) Scull, Terry (Corinthians) Crumpton, Thomas (Delphine) Crumpton and Samuel Vance Sr. Grandchildren: Marlon (Robyn) Washington, Kenneth Washington, Dr. Craig (Jerica) Washington, Samarra (Kurwin) White, Samuel (Kisha) Vance, Christian Scull ,Adrienne Scull, TeShara Crumpton, Targie Crumpton, Thomas (Rahshida) Crumpton, Eric (Larryne) Crumpton, Tyeshia (Shay) Burks, Greg (Shelby) Burks and Celeste (Anthony) Kelley; great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, siblings: Christine Smith, Pearl Iverson, Robert (Kathie) Anderson, Earl (Betty) Anderson and Sarah (Rufus) Hardin; closest friends whom she loved like sisters Willie Mae Cooper & Rosetta Madison, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
