If I could make time stand still; and have just another minute I would take the time to tell you the joy I felt, when the world had you in it But since time waits on no one, and my "ifs" will never come true I'll close my eyes and fill my mind with thoughts of me and you And as I dream of times that we so often shared, It confirms the love you have for me, though I always knew you cared
And just because my eyes can no longer see you, I know you are still around; for the remembrances will uplift me whenever I'm feeling down The gift of love creates memories that dries the tears away And the memories create a laughter that embrace me day to day As our precious moments replay inmy mind, it will always make me smile I'm so glad that I got to enjoy you, even though it seems likeonly for a while And for the rest of my days I'll love you, for our love is an unbreakable bond I'll always cherish times we shared for infinity and beyond
