Betty Retired and moved back to her hometown of Malvern to enjoy her retirement and care for her mother and father during their time of illness until they were called home by God. Betty enjoyed baking and cooking and was an avid lover of birds and pets in general, especially her pets Tracy & Nicky. Betty was a caring and loving person that treated each and every one of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own child. She would sacrifice her own wellbeing to care for others. She was an inspiration to all that knew her and looked for the good in everybody, while doing good deeds throughout her life. Betty was proceeded in death by her parents: John R. & Ola M. Cummings; Ex-Husband: Lawrence Samuel. Betty leaves to cherish her memory her brothers: John L. Cummings, John H. (Erma) Cummings, Roger L. If I should die, And you should live, And time should gurgle on, And morn should beam, And noon should burn, As it has usual done; If birds should build as early, And bees as bustling go,– One might depart at option From enterprise below! 'Tis sweet to know that stocks will stand When we with daisies lie, That commerce will continue, And trades as briskly fly. It make the parting tranquil And keeps the soul serene, That gentlemen so sprightly Conduct the pleasing scene! Samuel L.
