Sister Cheryl Cook Wofford was born to the parentage of Cary Blueford and the late Gwendolyn Joyce (Cook) Bailey on January 7,1974 in Warren, Arkansas. She departed this life on January 18, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family in New Edinburg, Arkansas.Cheryl gave her life to Christ at an early age and was united with St. Frances AME Church in New Edinburg, Arkansas. She was a proud graduate of Warren HighSchool where she ran track and was a part of ROTC. She also was the head cook of St. Francis United Methodist Church. She was a compassionate, hard-working person who loved caring for her family. Cheryl was united in Holy Matrimony to Reggie Wofford Sr., and to this union two children were born.She was preceded in death by her mother, Gwendolyn Bailey. Cheryl leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Reggie Wofford Sr., of New Edinburg, Arkansas; one daughter, Genice(Jonathan) Tatum of Fordyce, Arkansas; one son, Reggie (Darriell) Wofford Jr. of New Edinburg, Arkansas; father, Cary Blueford of Warren, Arkansas; one brother, Cary Cooper of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Shimekal Gorsline of North Hills, California and LaBetty Blueford of Omaha, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Charnelle Tatum and Jonathan C.Tatum Jr., both of Fordyce, Arkansas; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends.
