David Noel Hughes, Sr. was born on July 11, 1958, in Moro, Arkansas, to the late Troy Hughes Sr. and Corene Burks Hughes. After 67 years of life, on the morning of Saturday, July 26, he peacefully entered eternal rest and was called home to the mansion prepared for him by the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Terrance Hughes, Sr.; his sisters, Mary K. Hughes and Bonnie Fay Hughes; and his brothers, Ronald W. Hughes and Charles H. Hughes. David leaves to cherish his memory three beloved children: Taneka Hughes Bass (Art), David N. Hughes Jr., and Jeffrey Hughes. He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Marqueshia Hughes, Kyston Bass, Arquince Bass, Chaston Hughes,Damayia Hughes, Nevah Hughes, Terrance Hughes Jr., Azariah Hughes, Jabria Hughes, and Jada Hughes; and great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren, Jah'mir and Brennan Hughes. David is also survived by his brothers: Troy Hughes Jr., Donnie R. Hughes (Brenda), James A. Hughes (Sandra), Stephen J. Hughes, Samuel Hughes, Andrew Hughes, and Patrick Hughes; and two sisters, Lorraine Hughes Nelson (Carl) and Maxine Smith.
