Edson Edward Jones, in his 56th season of life, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021. He was born on April 29, 1964 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Booker T. Washington Jones Sr. and Corine Jones. They preceded him in death as well as his sisters Luella Jones-Cooper, Ceretha Jones, Jolanda Jones; brothers, Maurice Jones and Booker T. Washington Jones Jr.

Edson was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School class of 1983 and spent most of his career working in the Culinary Industry.

He received Jesus at an earlier age while attending Hebrew Church of Christ where his father Booker T. Washington Jones Sr. was a Pastor during the (1960s & 1970s) and well-known as a Civil Rights Leader. When Edson became an adult he did not depart from his early teaching and joined Prairie Lake Baptist Church where he was an active member until his passing.

Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing, bowling and drawing/observing art. If you had the opportunity of getting to know Edson, you knew that he enjoyed life and loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son Lamound Randle( Latoya) of Hot Springs, AR., his sisters Igusta Jones-Crutchfield of Pine Bluff, AR., Bonnie K. Jones of Kansas City, KS., Arnitrace Watson of Torrance,CA., Ethel Jones of Los Angeles, CA.; brother Emanuel Jones of Kansas City, KS.; (4) grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
