Bro Hezkit "Slim Owens transitioned on May 11, 2021. Hez was born July 12, 1939 to Julius Owens and Ida Williams in Sparkman, Arkansas. Hez found the Lord at an early age. He married Pauline Allen to this union four children was born.

Hez leaves to cherish his memories sons: Charles (San) Owens of Malvern, AR, Antonio Owens of Maryland, IL; daughters: Mary Davis of Arkadelphia, AR, Janice Owens of Tulip, AR. and Tracy (Dale) Clary of San Antonio, TX; brothers: Sonny (Cynthia) Owens of Kansas, MO and Jessie Owens of Prescott, AR; sister: Mattie Redman; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
