Jerry Wayne Collins Sr. was born November 22, 1952 to the late Lee Andrew and Aretha Mae Williams Collins. He was affectionally called "Batman" by family, friends and all that knew him. Jerry gave his life to Christ at a young age. He attended First Baptist Church, Vine Street of Malvern, under the leadership of Rev. Hayes. He attended Malvern Schools and graduated Malvern High Schools, Class of 1972. He was known as a "Jack of all Trades" as he could fix anything. Jerry was a sweet and loving man who love to help others. He married the love of his life, Wanda Lee. To this union, 8 children were born. They were married 45 years at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Tonya Collins; granddaughter: Katlyn Witkinson; brothers: Tony and Keith Collins. He leaves to cherish his memories, Wife: Wanda Collins of Malvern; Daughters: Wanda Collins of Florida, Felicia Smith, Ashley Collins, Zundria Collins, Nellie Collins and Lesser Collins all of Malvern, AR; a Son: Jerry Wayne Collins Jr. of Arkadelphia, AR; 19 Grandchildren; Brothers: Roger(Sharon)Collins of Newport News, VA and Cornelius(Kristie)Collins of Armadale, West Australia; Sisters: Sheril(Harold)Caradine of Malvern, AR and Corletha Medlock of Lansing, IL; Sister-in-Law: Sheila Collins; Special Aunt: Dorothy Adkins of Chicago, IL; Special Nephew: Deon Caradine and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
