Joyce was employed at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and also was an Alumni.

She was preceded in death by Willie Davenport Jr.,Moses L. Thomas and Greathern Vance.

She leaves to cherish her memories husband, Samuel Vance Sr.;Children,:Shemeka Evans,Makesha Donald,Samarra Vance,Samuel (Kisha) Vance, II,MarQuis (Tyler) White, Sr.; Derrick Vance, Neely (Amanda) Vance andMarTika White.

Grandchildren: Deante Donald,Taryn Bailey,MaLik LeVaul,MarQuis White, Jr.,McKinley LeVaul,DeKendrous Bradley Jr.,Jay Rancifer,Layla Jackson,Samuel VanceIII,Samson Vance,Rylayne Spears, Amaria Kelley,Andrez Roaf,Amiah Johnson,Amir Vance,Marley Vance andJordyn Vance.
