Ms.Karen Colleen Mathews, 54, of Malvern, Arkansas formally of Afton, Oklahom , got her wings on Wednesday July 19th, 2017. She was born February 11th, 1963 to Andy and Polly in Stella, Missouri. She graduated high school in 1981 from Afton High School in Afton, Oklahoma. She spent her years as a cook which she loved doing especially if it was for her family. She also loved fishing and spending time with her family. She had a smile that would light up a room and touched everyone. She was preceded in death by her father Andy Lawson. She is survived by her mother and stepfather Polly and Jimmie Frost of Afton, Oklahoma. 5 brothers, Buster Lawson of Miami, Oklahoma, Ronnie Lawson of Miami, Oklahoma, Mickey Lawson (Carlene) of Grove, Oklahoma, Chris Lawson (Linda) of Afton, Oklahoma, and Randy Lawson of Afton, Oklahoma and 1 sister Carla Lawson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. 2 daughters Kassandra Carter (Shawn) of Magnet Cove, Arkansas. Karissa Maguffey (Dennis Wayne) of Dewitt, Arkansas. 7 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
