Obituary

On June 12th 1988, Kena Janaee Clegg was born to Denna Renaee Clegg and Arnold Lamont Rose.

She grew up in Malvern, AR, where she attended Malvern Public School District. In high school, Kena was apart of the Malvern Leopard Marching Band, playing the clarinet alongside her bandmates. She graduated with Malvern High Schools Class of 2006. After high school, Kena attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. Kenas dream was to one day become a Physical Therapist.

As a child, Kena had a bubbly personality with an infectious smile, a love for laughter and being in the company of her family and close friends. She never met a stranger and was a light to all those she come across. As a teenager, Kena worked at Family Market, where you could catch her bright and big smile checking you out at the register. She had a heart for children which lead to her working in childcare at First Step and then Malvern Christian Academy. Up until her passing, Kena was employed as a Customer Service Representative at Sykes Corporation in Malvern, AR.

Kena attended Calvary Church of God in Christ since birth and joined the body of Christ by making Jesus her Lord and Savior in the year of 2012. She participated in Choir, Praise Dance Ministry, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School.

Kena is proceeded in death by her Great-Grand Mothers, Deola Marshall and Estelle Clegg, Grandmothers, Francis E. Hudson and Willie Dean June Clegg, Grandfather Eddie Houston Clegg, two aunts that she loved dearly, Dewanna Clegg Clayton and Sondra Clegg.

On August 11th 2012, Kena gave birth to her first biggest blessing, Keiden Andre Douglas. She enjoyed expressing her love for Keiden in many ways, especially through pictures. Who knew that later on Kena would get the surprise of her life when she found out she was expecting twin boys. Mason Neal Clegg and Maddox Dean Clegg were born on July 7th 2019. With two additional boys, Kena kept her love for pictures flowing, sharing the life of herself and all three children to the world through photos, all throughout each day, on all social media outlets.

With a loving memory left to cherish, Kena Janaee leaves behind her precious boys, Keiden Andre Kebow, Mason Neal May May, Maddox Dean Bugs; her parents, Denna Clegg-Newton (Anthony) of Benton, AR and Arnold Lamont Rose(Carla) of Dallas, TX; Four sisters, Brittany Paxton, Marquisha Moss, Tiara Rose and Destinie Moss; Three brothers, Jashun, Jamarion and MJ; Godparents, Stephen Booth and Synthia Littleton-Simpson; Host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kena will truly be missed for her big warm smile, daily phone calls and random FaceTimes, encouraging words, kind heart, loving spirit and loyalty. There was no doubt that she loved her family and friends, especially her children.

Memories will never fade. Like a light that guides me, your love, your beauty, will always find me.
