Kenneth Earl Stanford was born April 8, 1962 in Hollandale, Mississippi to the late George Wallace Stanford Sr. & Bessie Griffo Stanford. He accepted Christ at an early age. Kenny graduated from Manley High School, Chicago, Illinois in 1980. Kenny was a professional truck driver for 25 years. He attended a vocational school and worked as a tradesman in welding for some years. He also worked at Welch Packaging of Elkhar, Indiana until his health decline in 2022. Kenny was in a long-term relationship with Alice Spencer Holt, they had one child, Kendra Stanford. He married and divorced, Michelle Stanford Cronister; and of this union they had two children, Louis and Justin. He also married and later separated from Monica Duncan without bearing any children of this union. Fishing brought Kenny lots of serenity. This peaceful hobby earned Kenny all the bragging rights about his big catch of any given day. One of his favorite fishing spots was on GrandLake in Readland, Arkansas while enjoying this special time with his daughter, Kendra. Kenny had a passion for cooking, especially grilling all types of food. He also found great joy in detailing vehicles using his many buffering and waxing tools. Kenny was a family man and took pride in the primary raising of two of his children. He was a kindhearted person who would give a person whatever he could. Kenny was a big jokester while always aiming to make a person smile and laugh. Kenny was preceded in death by his beloved parents: George Stanford Sr. and Bessie Griffo Stanford; brother: Terry Stanford, Clyde Garner, Micheal Garner and Eugene Garner; sisters: Sylvia Garner Page and Georgia Stanford. Kenny has three surving children to include a loving and very devoted daughter, Kendra Nicole Stanford of Eudora, Arkansas who was very dedicated to caring for her father during his illness in 2022 until his death; sons: Louis (Amanda) Stanford of Chesterton, Indiana and Justin (Michaila) Stanford of Rogers, Arkansas; grandchildren: Tyrese Cleveland of Kansas City, Missouri; Shania Buckley, Kaliyah Buckley ,Caleigh Givens all of Eudora, Arkansas and Scarlett June Stanford of Chesterton, Indiana. Kenny also recognized Monterrio Spencer of Kansas City, Missouri as his bonus son. Kenneth was blessed to have many siblings and relatives. Many siblings still have the gift of life. Surviving siblings are Betty Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia, Diane Garner and Carlean Harvey both of Greenville, Mississippi, George Wallace Stanford Jr. of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Jimmy Broadway of Cary, Mississippi, Debra Stanford of Benton, Arkansas, Vince Stanford of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dennis (Cynthia) Stanford of Maumelle, Arkansas and Melissa Reed of Memphis, Tennessee. Kenny also leaves a host of other family & Friends. Fisherman's Prayer God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, and when it comes to my last cast I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep. That in His mercy, I be judged good enough to keep. If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane.
