Obituary

LaKeisha Davis was born on January 25, 1978, to Lethell Davis and Charlene Robertson Davis in Malvern, Arkansas. She was a proud member of the Malvern High School Class of 1996, where she shined as a dedicated Leopard Stepper and an outstanding basketball player. Her athletic skills earned her a scholarship to Arkansas Baptist College, reflecting her talent and commitment to excellence.

LaKeisha devoted her career to working with youth, most recently at Rite of Passage Juvenile Program. Through her years of service, she demonstrated unwavering dedication, consistency, and a sincere desire to see young people succeed. Her positive influence reached countless children and families, and the impact of her work will be felt for generations. LaKeisha was known for her strength, honesty, and tireless work ethic. Her legacy endures in the lives she touched both at home and in her professional life.

A true sports enthusiast, LaKeisha especially loved basketball and football. During the excitement of the final four, her animated spirit could be felt throughout the neighborhood. She was cherished for her sense of humor, yet she also knew when to be serious. LaKeisha treasured her friends and family, and in the past year, she spent even more time with loved ones while facing health challenges. Even during difficult times, she remained strong and independent, remembered for her compassion, generosity, and the love she so freely gave to others.

LaKeisha was preceded in death by her father, Elder Lethell Davis, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Missionary Charlene Davis, daughter, Diovinni K'Lanesh Walker (Elliott); her son, Isaiah Ash; her sister, Bobbie Cassandra Harris; her brother, Patrick L. Davis (Ashley); her grandsons, Davin Owens, Julius Walker, and Roman Walker; her nephews, Jason Harris (Jovonna), Maurice Harris (Alicia), Aaron Jones, Jacori Smith; and her nieces, Ayauna Harris, Jazel Harris, Kali Harris, Sarai Harris, Zina Spain, and Audreyanna Welch. Each of them carries forward her memory and the values she instilled.
