Linda Bishop was born on September 11, 1963, to the late Eddiemay Bishop and Theodore Bishop. She departed this life on February 19, 2026. Linda was raised in a large and loving family alongside her 13 siblings. She was surrounded by love and carried those strong family values with her throughout her life. Linda was known as a hardworking, dedicated, and caring woman.
Linda spent 21 years working as a cook in Milwaukee, where she faithfully served and provided for her family. She took great pride in her work and was known for her determination and strong spirit. Above all, Linda was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Eric Bishop, and her daughter, Kya Bishop. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Jayvon and Jaylen, who brought her tremendous joy and happiness. She cherished her grandchildren and loved being part of their lives.
Linda deeply valued her family. She treasured the memories she shared with her late parents and siblings, and she shared a special bond with her brothers Charles, Ted, Gut, and Willie andrew. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and held a special place in her heart for her nephew MikeBishop.
Linda enjoyed spending time with loved ones and friends. She especially cherished her friendship with Cherry, whose companionship meant so much to her. Linda also enjoyed shopping and spending meaningful time with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Eddiemay Bishop and Theodore Bishop; and her siblings, including Virginia Hughes, Blue, Thomas, Mary, Net, Priscilla, and Rebecca.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her son, Eric Bishop; daughter, Kya Bishop; grandchildren, Jayvon and Jaylen and Michelle Perkins; great grandchildren: Amar Perkins and Amiri Bishop brothers: Charles, Ted, Gut, and Willie Earl Bishop; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Linda will always be remembered for her strength, kindness, loving heart, and willingness to help others. Her legacy of love and dedication to her family will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
