Obituary

Loretta Ann Amos was born May 28, 1964 in Clarendon, Arkansas to the late Ervin Dillard Amos Sr., and Missionary Edith Amos. She professed her faith in Jesus Christ and accepted him as her Lord and Savior at an early age.

Loretta became a faithful member of St. Paul C.O.G.I.C under the leadership of Elder McArthur Dismuke and later became a member of Kingdom Builders Ministries in Holly Grove, Arkansas under the leadership of Apostle Scott Tyler. Presently she was a faithful member of New Haven Missionary Baptist Church in West Helena, Arkansas under the leadership of Dr. Rodney D Corbin, until her passing.

Ms. Loretta graduated Clarendon High School in 1982. She was employed at Belleville for over 10 years. Later Loretta was also employed at Lockwood and Boyd Funeral Home under Brandon Lockwood, in Marvell Arkansas. Presently Loretta was employed at Riceland Food in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents Ervin Dillard Amos Sr. and Missionary Edith Amos, her brother Leonard Amos and her loving son Minister Tarvers Amos.

Loretta spirit will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her; two daughters, Rakena Amos and Demetria Amos both of Clarendon, Arkansas; one brother, Ervin Dillard Amos Jr. of Clarendon, Arkansas, three sisters, Carmanetta Sain, Angela (Kevin) Thomas, and Florance(Eddie) Walker all of Clarendon, Arkansas; one aunt, Sharon Amos of Conway, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Donna Taylor, Serenity, Kelis Taylor, Keliah Taylor, and Karsyn Hampton all of Clarendon, Arkansas; a very special close friend Brandon Lockwood of Chicago, IL.

Loretta also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Loretta will be truly missed by all that she encountered.
