He is proceeded in death by his father, maternal grandfather Roger Earl Mack, maternal aunt Joyce Rice, and paternal grandmother Lucille Booth. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church. He was an elite student athlete who loved basketball and played for Lisa Academy North, First Baptist NLR under Willis Stewart, and AAU teams: Iron Sharpens iron and LRJ. Upon graduation, he planned to attend college to play basketball and pursue a degree in physical performance and sports medicine. He had a great love for animals, fishing, nature, and traveling. Marcus loved spending time with his family and friends. His memories will be cherished by his loving mother Roslyn Williams; stepfather: Shelly Martin; sisters: Shelli Martin, Skyy Blue, Xavia Blue; grandmother: Celestine Mack; aunts: Tywanna (Brent) Williams, Shelia (Darrell) Jackson, Angela Brown and Angie Mack; uncles: Charleston Blue, Reginald Booth, a host of aunties, uncles, and special cousins that he was extremely close to as well as friends, Jaguar teammates, and a special friend T'nia Sanders. Marcus Blue entered eternal rest on November 11, 2022, along with his best friend Alex Berry (Blueberry). Holding by Washington Gladded In the bitter waves of woe, Beaten and tossed about, By the sullen winds that blow, From the desolate shores of doubt, Where the anchors that faith has cast Are dragging in the gale, I am quietly holding fast To the things that cannot fail.
