Obituary

Marnetta LaJoyce Belin - Watts passed away June 23rd, 2023 after a life of service to her family, Christ and community. She was born on December 13th, 1966 in Pine Bluff, AR to parents Angelia Pickett - Cooper and Johnny Belin who preceded her in death. Marnetta found love and a life mate in Bennie Watts of Pine Bluff and they joined together in matrimony On December 11th, 2022. They remained married until the time of her passing. Marnetta had a passion for cooking and serving others. She shared this passion through her career as a cook for many years. She found Christ early in her life and remained a devout Christian. She combined her passion for Christ, music and traveled all across the south with her family gospel group, The True Gospelaires. As a member of Second Baptist church in Wabbaseka, Marnetta always remained steadfast in her commitment and dedication to Christ. She always said " Aint God good!" She never strayed from her belief even up until the moment of her passing. Marnetta had a huge heart and an immense love for children and family. While raising her daughter Latoya King - Bolden, she also helped raise and care for all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. Marnetta truly believed that children and family were the highlight of her life and it showed through the love that she showered upon them. "Mmm I know you glad!" and "Ain't that a blessing!" were some of her favorite sayings. She lived a life full of fun and laughter. She was often the life of the party, bringing everyone together with dancing and songs of praise. Marnetta is survived in death by her spouse Bennie Watts of Pine Bluff, AR; daughter: Latoya King-Bolden of Little Elm, Texas; brother: Rodney (Tammy) Belin; sisters: Lesley (Berlin) Tosca, Stephanie Belin, Tangelia Belin - Gilbert, and Erica Cooper - Wilson all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other family. She will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved her. May Time Soften Your Pain In times of darkness, love sees… In times of silence, love hears... In times of doubt, love hopes… In times of sorrow, love heals... And in all times, love remembers. May time soften the pain Until all that remains Is the warmth of the memories And the love. ~ UNK Samuel L. Vance & Sons Funeral Directors " The Epitome of Service "
