After a lengthy illness, Martha Sharon (Norris) Arab (Sharon) passed away on February 19, 2025 at The Springs at Red Oak Nursing Home. She passed away quietly surrounded by her son and best friend. Sharon was a graduate of Texas Women's University. Sharon was widowed after being married for 35 years to her husband Reza Arab. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents JD and Winona Norris. Sharon was survived by her son Jay Gouy of Hot Springs ,Arkansas; brother: Ross Norris; grandchildren: Austin Gouy, Christopher Gouy, Caleb Ford, and Lillian Gouy; Great grand children: Rylee Gouy (3) and Martha June Gouy (1); best friend Eve Victory . Sharon also leaves many more family and friends to cherish her memories. Sharon was a Smart, Kind, loving person that That will be deeply missed by all that new her! Silent in Library Silent until opened, Perhaps more softly spoken than we thought, Or loud, somewhat aggressive, Uncompromised and unapologetic. However they may speak, They sit out for the most part of their lives, Reclusive, and obediently quiet, Resting like somnambulists asleep. We wake them with the creak of spines, Stiff at first, cold in our hands. With a gentle touch we open pages, stroke them, Hear them sigh. In turn, they give up secrets with a look.
