Mary Jane Childs was born on January 22, 1956 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Eddie Childs, Sr. and Cora Mae Childs. She was the second of three children.

Mary Jane attended Malvern High School and was a member of New Director Missionary Baptist Church in Perla, Arkansas. She was employed as a CNA for many years before retiring.

The precious life of Mary Jane came to a close on April 13, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents: Eddie Childs, Sr & Cora Mae Childs; sister: Almeta White Brent.

Mary Jane is survived by her loving brother Eddie (Endia) Childs, Jr.; nieces: Monica (John) Lee & Jacqlyn Jones; nephews: Phillip and Daniel Childs; great nephew: Kenny Jones; great-great nephew: Massimiliano Bethel - Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
