Miss Nyckeisha "Nikkol Punkin DrkNLuvly" Dawn was born To the Parentage of Cynthia Dawn-Lewis and Chester Holliday on December 27, 1982 in Kansas City Kansas. She slipped away from this life on Thursday August 24, 2023 at her home in Camden, Arkansas. Although her absence leaves a void, her memory will live on. She was preceded in death by her dad, Jeffery Tyrone Lewis Nyckeisha gave her life to Christ at an early age, and United with the Greater Pentecostal Church in Kansas City Kansas. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City and attended Donnelly College. She was a drummer for the Gateway steppers of Kansas City, Kansas. She played the drums at Northwest Middle School. She loved music and loved life. Nyckeisha worked tirelessly giving and caring for people. She loved working with people of all ages and loved challenges. She worked as a healthcare worker for kindred Health Care Systems. One of Punkin's greatest joys came from working with people with disabilities. She enjoyed helping people to overcome their challenges. She worked as the Director of Residential Services for GRASP Enterprises in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a Residential provider for "A Place Like Home" in Dallas, Texas. She spent her lunch breaks with her granny "Ida Dawn" on most days at Silver Oaks Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Camden, Arkansas. She loved spending her time with family and friends. Fishing was her serenity peace. Her love, smile, laughter will forever live in the hearts of her son Jerry McKenzie III of Camden, Arkansas parents, Cynthia Dawn-Lewis of Camden, Arkansas; Chester Holliday of Kansas City, Kansas. Grandmothers, Ida Dawn Mildrene Seals both of Camden Arkansas. Brenda Thomas of Kansas City, Kansas. Four sisters, Kanisha Lewis, & Latisha Lewis both of Camden, Arkansas. Kiera Garrett, & Brittany Jefferson both of Kansas City, Kansas. Four brothers, Justin Sequin & Eric (Lakreasha) Sequin both of Camden, Arkansas. Deon Holliday, & Chris Holliday of Kansas City, Kansas. Two bonus siblings De'Ayrius Jackson of Dallas, Texas & Nikkia Snow of Kansas City, Missouri. One Aunt, Rossland (Daucie) Dawn-Lee of Desoto Texas. Two uncles, Ricky (Dana) Dawn of Iola, Kansas. Darrell (Vernetta) McElroy of Columbia, Missouri. A host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends... And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
