Mr. Richard " Ricky" Watkins,64 of Bearden, Arkansas was born March 17, 1958 to the late Alverna Watkins- Hawkins and Richard Matlock. He departed this earth March 10, 2023 at the Ouachita Rehabilitation Center in Camden, Arkansas.

Ricky was Baptize at Toones Chapel A.M.E. Church at an early age. Ricky attended school at Carthage Eastside School in Carthage, AR.. He entered into the workforce as a logger. He worked in the logging industry until his health failed. Ricky loved his job, fishing and hunting.

Ricky was preceded in death by his Mother Alverna Watkins Hawkins; Step Father: George Hawkins; brothers: R.C. Hawkins, George Wayne Hawkins and Jerry Hawkins; sister: Dora Lee Matlock

Ricky leaves to cherish his memory: A very special love Phyllis Jean Ferrell; children: Shatara Ferrell, Tamekia Ferrell, Shanekia Robinson(Jerred) of Baltimore, Maryland, Marquise Nelson (Jessica) of Bearden, AR; sisters: Verna M. Jones of Tulip, AR., Scarlett Mannery of Atlanta GA.; brother: Allen Matlock (Stephanie) of Rockford, IL.; aunts: Bernice (Will) of Jacinto, Annie Pearl Davis of Arkadelphia and Evelene (George) of California.; sister in law: Deborah Hawkins & Tracy Hawkins and a host of other relatives.
