Rosalind Matlock, 53 Princeton, AR transition from Labor to Reward on Wednesday, August 25,2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center- Little Rock.
Rosalind Matlock was born November 28, 1967 to the late Matthew & Dora Lee Matlock.
Rosalind Matlock attendedFordyce Public Schools and graduated in 1986. In 1987 she started working at Sonic Drive-In in Fordyce. Rosalindworked there for 34 plus years. She was very devoted to going to work and to make sure Sonic was being operated correctly. Rosalindloved making onion rings. She brought so much joy to the customers that came through the Drive thru. Rosalindnever met a stranger. She enjoyedlaughing and talking to everyone.
Rosalind acceptedChrist at an early age andwas baptized at Greater Beulah Baptist Church in Princeton. Rosalind served on theUsher Board and in the choir. She was known for singing Chilly Winds, Going to a City and Lord you know I am you Child. Her greatest joy was her daughter Ashanti Cones and her 3 grandchildren.
Rosalind was proceeded in death by her parents:Matthew and Dora Lee Matlock;sisters: Annette Henderson and Sandra Kaye Oakley.
Rosalind leaves to cherish her memories: daughter;Ashanti (Dimitri) Cones;grandchildren: Azaya Morris, Dimitri Cones Jr, Ava Cones all of Sheridan, AR.; sister: Debora Matlock of Princeton, AR. ; brother:Zachary Matlock of Desoto, TX.; niece:Shakara Lomack of Princeton, AR. who wasraised like her sister. She had a host of nieces, nephews, uncles aunts, relatives and host of Friends.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
