Roy Franklin Slater Jr., 66, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020, peacefully at his home in Hot Springs, AR.Roy was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on October 28, 1953. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Roy and Francis Slater; and sister and brother-in-law, Kathie & Bill Terry. He is survived by his wife, Shari; daughters, Whitleigh (Jeremy) and Mina (Roy); siblings, John (Cathy), James (Adair), Jackie (John), Charlie (Becky), Gary (Dianne); grandchildren, Beckett & Jasper Wilhelmi, and Lincoln & Gavin Gustafson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at an another date.
