Taronnica Rhavon Blackmon was born October 26, 1980 to Ramona Sanders and the late Ronald David Blackmon. She departed this earth peacefully on May 12, 2023 at University of Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Taronnica had a passion for softball. Softball was not just a hobby she enjoyed playing. She many accomplishments during her softball career, she made the Arkansas Soft Ball Hall of Fame, Woman C Challenge Cup 2022 & 2023. Taronnica most recently was excited about getting defensive MVP at the Autism Tournament. She pitched like no one else. When it came time to hit and run, she made sure she had her runner. Taronnica enjoyed every playing softball. Taronnica was employed at Malvern Elementary as a Dyslexia Interventionist. She put her heart and soul into teaching her children and absolutely adored her colleagues. There was never a day she did not mention her work besties . Taronnica always bragged on how great her students were and how proud of them she was. When she was not working or playing soft ball she spent time with her family. Family time was especially important to her. Taronnica was preceded in death by her father: Ronald Black; brother: Kareem "Hollywood " Hughes; grandparents: Raymond & Frankie Sanders; niece: Tyria Hughes. Taronnica will be greatly missed by her son: Dakovon Blackmon; grandchildren:K'lynn Aaliyah, Nyomi Rose and grandson that she was overjoyed about making his arrival in July ( Kyrie Isaac); mother: Ramona Sanders; sisters: Minister Tabitha (Pastor John ) Harris, Victoria Cole , Kenyada Blackmon – Isbell and Ajeenah Blackmon; brothers: Antroy Blackmon & Ronald Blackmon Jr. ; godchildren: Taquinta Hughes, Kaliea Hughes and Hannah Lynn Johnson.
