Obituary

Thomas Walter Coley was born Monday, January 18, 1954, to Thomas Ringwood and Elle Billie Coley in Danville, GA. He rested in North Little Rock and deported this life Friday, January 24,2025 at 12:30 p.m. Thomas was the 4th child of six children. Thomas graduated from TwiggsCounty High School, and later move to Chicago, Illinois and then Little Rock, Arkansas. He was employed with Falcon Jet until retirement. Thomas accepted Christ at a early age, and was later baptized at Second Baptist Church of Little Rock, Arkansas. In his spare time he loved to fish, hunt and dance. Thomas was the founder of his North Little Rock Silver Fox Club. Thomas was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life Evelyn Sims on Saturday, May 26, 2012. He became a member of First Baptist Church of North Little Rock on his 61st birthday, January 18, 2015 under the leadership of Pastor William L. Robinson During his tenure at First Baptist Church, he was a faithful servant of the Male Usher Board, Couples in Christ, Obadiah's Kitchen and work tirelessly around the church, helping other ministries. Thomas was preceded in death by his father Thomas Ringwood, mother Elle Coley, his paternal maternal grandparents & his brother Ronnie Cox Senior. Thomas leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Evelyn Coley, his children Maurice (Troy) Coley, Olympia Fields, Illinois, Thomas (Tara) Coley Jr. Hampton, Georgia, Rory (Sara) Moore, San Diego, California, Melvin (Christa) Sims, Wylie, Texas, Shanita Evans, Conway, Arkansas and Mercedes Sims, Little Rock, Arkansas. Grandchildren: Time Coley, Tara Coley, Amaya Coley, Jaylen Coley, Jaxon Moore, Lennox Moore, Sabrina Harlson, Demario Davenport Jr., Amarri Sims, Destiny Williams and Shaunique Clue. One great grandchild Ru'e Clue. Siblings: Patricia (Johnny) White, Jeffersonville, Georgia, Jerrell Coley, Jeffersonville, Georgia, Willie Coley, Jeffersonville, Georgia, Cynthia Floury, Macon, Georgia, Loving mother-in-law Mary Young (MA), Brother and Sister in laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends Steve Short, Harold Harper, and Leonard Bates.
