Obituary

Valerie Denise Anderson was born July 19, 1974, to Clotee and Elbert Ray Anderson.

Valerie accepted Christ in 1985 and was baptized at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Eddie Johnson. Valerie served on the Usher Board during her membership at Antioch MB Church. She later became a member of Indiana Street MB Church under the leadership of Rev. Brian L. Castle where she remained a faithful member.

Valerie attended schools in the Pine Bluff School District where she was a member of the Junior High Orchestra program. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1993.

Valerie was a quiet and loving person who enjoyed being with family members. She had a giving spirit and never talked about anyone.

Valerie was the middle child of three children of Clotee Carter and the only girl. Valerie worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal and the National Center for Technological Research (NCTR). Due to a disability, she ended her work career in 2012.

She was predeceased in death by her father, Elbert Ray Anderson, her step-father, Herman Carter, and her niece, Jada Anderson.

Valerie leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Mrs. Clotee Carter; two brothers, Timothy Anderson and Arthur Ray Polk; all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; aunts, Dorothy Butler and Bobbie Harden of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Thelma Coleman of Dallas, Texas; nieces, Miracle Anderson and Destiny Anderson both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

The Window Your body is away from me but there is a window open from my heart to yours.

From this window, like the moon I keep sending news secretly.
