Mrs. Wanetta M. King Age 92, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
Wanetta Marie King was born May 16, 1927 in Dewitt, Arkansas to Will and Pearlene Halliburton. Wanetta married Herman L, King in 1947. She was a house wife and mother to Marion Earnestine Harris (Miller). Wanetta was a Jehovahs Witness for over 35 years. She made a lot of changes in her life to qualify for dedication to Jehovah God.
Wanetta Marie King leaves to cherish her memory: 3 grandchildren, James G. Miller of Little Rock, John (Sonya) Miller of Dallas TX, Michelle (Tony) Watkins of Bloomington, IL. 5 great-grandchildren, Paris (Donnita) Miller, Dominique (Jazmine) Rogers, Michella` Miller, Kennedi and Myles Watkins. There are also 6 great-great grandchildren. She had a host of nieces and nephews that loved her very much. Also, her sister, Genetta M. Simmons, with special mention of her dear nieces Sonya Regina Peacock, Cynthia Mason-Ingram and Connie Mason-Brown.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Herman L King, her daughter Marion Earnestine Miller and son-in-law James G. Miller, Jr, and son Paul R. King.
The family would like to express special thanks to members of the Kingdom Hall for visiting and encouraging our grandmother while she was at Barrow Meadows Nursing home. Also, Cynthia Mason (grandniece) for assisting with visiting and meals during the time she was in the nursing home. A special thanks to her nephew Neil Mason for assisting her when she was confined to her home.
The family would also like to send a special thanks to Kindred Hospice: Kathy Owens, Jazmine Simon, Jennifer Fratesi, Lutrina Friels who took such good care of our grandmother.
