Dedrick Parker, the youngest of twin boys, was born on July 8, 1995 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Angela Parker.
He confessed faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized on February 19, 2011, at Family Church in White Hall, Arkansas. Dedrick found joy in serving. His favorite thing to do was spreading the love of Jesus. He spent the last moments of his life sharing the Good News of Jesus’ love for all mankind.
Dedrick attended White Hall High School in White Hall, Arkansas where he received his diploma on May 15, 2014. He was highly intellectual and an exceptional student who aspired to become a cardiologist.
Dedrick loved all sports. His favorite teams were the Los Angeles Lakers and the Texas Longhorns. Dedrick and his twin brother Cedrick were inseparable. Their bond can only be understood by those who experienced the joy of twinship. They often would say “Everybody needs a twin.”
Dedrick departed this life on January 28, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memory, two brothers: Davell Montrell Smith, Hornlake, Mississippi and his twin brother, Cedrick Parker, Pine Bluff, AR; two uncles: Jihad Mahdi Muhammad (Latoya Muhammad) Honorable Stepmom Felecia Muhammad, Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Carl Nelson (Demetrice Honorable-Nelson), Little Rock, AR; a special cousin, Wardine Laws, and many close relatives and friends.
He will wipe every tear from their eye. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Rev 21:4
