Reverend Ulysses Grant Ollison in his 69th season of life went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He was born on January 11, 1952, in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Bill and Zenobia Biggs Ollison.
Reverend Ollison was a graduate of Malvern Senior High School Class of 1970. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He served in the Vietnam War.
Reverend Ollison met Ruby Louise George, the love of his life. They were married October 3, 1975. She was a loving and devoted wife.
Reverend Ollison accepted Christ at an early age. He united with First Missionary Baptist Church Rockport under the leadership of Dr. J. N. McCollum and under Dr. J. N. McCollum leadership, He confessed to preach and was ordained.
Reverend Ollison worked for Bald Construction Company and He was also Self- employed.
Reverend Ollison was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents; Brother: Paul Biggs, Sisters: Ethel Hudson and Nona Jean Cooper.
Those left to cherish his memories and to share his legacy are his wife, Ruby Louise Ollison of Malvern, Arkansas; son, Darrell (Donyail) Bedford of Malvern, Arkansas; his brothers: Sherman (Elaine) Ollison, Raymond (Verda) Ollison, Melvin (Bridgette) Ollison, Anthony (Valerie) Ollison, Grady (Linda) Ollison all of Malvern, Arkansas; William Ollison of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Tony (Sherry) Ollison of Dallas, Texas; his sisters: Onia (Rickey) Stephens, Sandra (John) Nolen, Rita (Henry) Morgan, all of Malvern, Arkansas; Carla Fay (Vernon) Gregory of Norfolk, Virginia; his special brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robert and Linda Buck of North Little Rock, Arkansas; his very special nephews, Rodrick George and Jamad Welch; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; his special friends Dr. J. N. McCollum and Mr. Joe Cook. His beloved dog, Snoop who will forever miss his loving Pop who rode him around in the truck. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
