Mrs.Virginia Louise Foster Walker was born December 31, 1951 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Ben and Mary Etta Collins Foster. Virginia was a graduate of Carthage High School in 1971. After graduating, she went on to marry her highschool sweetheart Johnny Walker, enjoying a shared life for over 50 plus years. During their marriage 5 children were born. She was employed with Kohler Company for 38 years where she retired due to health issues. She loved and had a strong spiritual impact on many lives of people that she came in contact with during her employment at Kohler. She was a long-term faithful member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Carthage, Arkansas where she was ordained as a Missionary. Virginia was a loving, kind, humble, firm but soft spoken, praying woman of God. She loved decorating and her dream was to be an interior designer but instead she chose to be a great wife and mother. She was a prayer warrior, a woman of distinction that had the gift of prophecy. She touched so many lives with her hugs, smile and encouraging words. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, with her friends going to dinner or just visiting and attending her family reunions. She hated cooking but baked the best desserts. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Mary Etta Collins Foster, one son; John Walker, one granddaughter; Marshuanna Randall, two sisters; Ella Bell Moore and Charlene Berry, one brother; Bennie Joe Foster and grandparents. Virginia leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband of 50 years, Johnny Walker of Carthage, AR: one son, Nicholas (Batina) Walker of Malvern, AR, three daughters; Trinisa (Shawn) Randall, Nathesha Walker of Carthage, AR and Kateena Walker of Hot Springs, AR, two sisters; Bennie Ruthel Foster of New Jersey and Cathy Foster of Magnolia, AR. brother-in-law; Willie (Nancy) Walker, two sister-in-laws; Vivian (Frank) Phillips and Janice (Otis) Blevins. Twelve grandchildren; Zatoria, Cassie, Katedra, Joshua, Antwuan, Araven, Natrice, Brianna, Angel and Josiah, four great-grandchildren; Averille, Amir, Alayna, and Amari, one goddaughter; Ciara Stoud and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Separation
Your absence has gone through me
Like thread through a needle.
Everything I do is stitched with its color.
